ICONS to be part of Women’s Charity Event at Café Couture Updated March 18, 2008 Five of Eric’s pieces from the Icons: Women of Myth and Legend will be featured at the “Can You Hear US?” charity event at Café Couture in Chicago. The five portraits- Rosie the Riveter, Penelope, Matsu, Maid Marian and The Valkyrie will be sold with part of the proceeds benefiting the New Life for Girls program. The event will take place March 28 and March 29th at the café which is located at 4352 North Cicero in Chicago. Eric was invited to document the relief efforts of Operation Love Thy Neighbor and Katrina’s Angels in northeastern Iowa. The region was devastated by floods and tornados this spring.
